Blossom Childcare & Learning Center provides high quality licensed care for children between the ages of 1 month and 12 years of age. We are open Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. We offer transportation to and from designated schools as well as breakfast, lunch and snacks. We provide exceptional care with an emphasis on learning.
Our early learning center located at 2945 Douglas Ave. provides infant, toddler, preschool & pre-kindergarten programs. Our school-age site, The Sunflower House, is located at 2900 Taylor Street, approximately 75 ft. behind the early learning center. This site offers private kindergarten and before and after school care for school-age children with younger siblings. All areas of the center open to children are also open to parents. Staff is available to meet with parents informally for consultation. We view all families’ cultures as valuable and important. While we do not have a religious curriculum orientation, we do respect each family’s religious beliefs and practices.

"Today is Ivy’s last day at Blossom and the Sunflower House. I am excited to see her grow and look forward to the great adventures that lie ahead. However, Blossom is a place that I am deeply sad to let go of. I have only had the best of experiences, entrusting my most precious treasure (Ivy) with all of you. I love walking into Blossom to smiling faces and sounds of children’s laughter and occasional crying. I will miss this place.
I came to Blossom a young single mother of a one year old baby girl. I now have a smart, funny, creative, beautiful five year old. Blossom helped me for four years to be the best mother I could: helping me learn, while teaching my daughter some of the fundamentals; sharing, caring, and well tried to teach her to be clean, among many many others. Blossom has seen me through getting a college education while working, multiple minimum wage jobs, to finally a job (in Bellingham) that I am proud of and off of welfare. I could not have done it without the support and love we have felt at Blossom.
Clint, Ivy and I are blessed to have had the opportunity to be part of the Blossom community. Thank you all so much for EVERYTHING. I could never tell you enough how grateful I am for the organization, diversity, cleanliness, thoughtfulness, and oh so many others. Clint and I have more than enjoyed our experience and I know that Ivy has loved it. You all have had an integral part in those vital, precious beginning years. I know that Ivy will be one of many success stories for Blossom and the Sunflower House.
So again, thank you all for giving us a blossoming start at motherhood, fatherhood and childhood."
