CURRENT POSITIONS: Lead and Assistant Early Childhood Educators

We are looking for a teachers who delight in children as well as believe in the value of learning through play and nature immersion (see our website). Are you the nurturing, creative, professional who we're searching for to join our teaching team?

Ideal candidates will be experienced with young children in a group setting. We’re looking for a lead Toddler Teacher (18mo-2yrs.) and an Assistant Toddler Teacher (12-18 Mo.) Both must have the ability to provide individualized care while monitoring a whole group, be willing to spend time outdoors (rain or shine), have knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice, and possess a calm demeanor yet have an abundance of energy!

This is a collaborative teaching environment; therefore, these people should possess the desire and communication skills necessary to work as part of a team. We are looking for people who are passionate about the early childhood field, and who are looking for longevity--a teaching environment to call "home". A love for the outdoors, gardening and learning through play are necessary for this teaching environment.

Lead Teachers ● Salary starting range: $20.55-$25.30

Assistant Teachers ● Salary starting range: $18.70-$23.45

Position: Full time (approximately 8:30-5:30).

Job Requirements:

  • Should be healthy and have the stamina for an active setting.

  • Group care experience as a lead, assistant teacher or teacher's aide.

  • Have or obtain Portable Background Check and TB test. Blood-borne pathogens is also required (can obtain this on site)

  • 30 Hours of Basics/STARS training (course is free & can be obtained within 90 days).

  • Ability to communicate effectively with the children, public, supervisors and co-workers.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a group setting, Early Childhood Degree (Initial ECE or higher) or enrollment in a program.
