Learning experiences abound
This program is designed to help children make the transition from the toddler program to a Pre-K setting. The room is set-up for newly potty-trained children with small toilets and sinks. Children are taught self-help skills such as changing their clothes after an accident, zipping coats, and serving themselves during meals.
The activities focus on cooperative play, creative expression, and learning through play. They participate in short circle times where stories, finger-plays, singing and sharing give the teacher time to model and teach social skills.
We encourage your child to learn in the great outdoors
During the fall and spring months, your child will enjoy trips to Joe’s Garden and romping through our ½ acre field, as well as long walks down the Connelly Creek Nature Trail. Year round, they will experience both of our wonderful playgrounds, and our 700 sq. ft. covered play area.
Your child will focus on
The foundations of literacy.
Number recognition and counting.
Science through the exploration of senses.
Social & Emotional skills to help with cooperative play.
Creative expression through open-ended art.
